TsugiFlow live board for a cleaning company: today's jobs, teams, timers and labor cost

Know your numbers

Your schedule tells you what should happen. TsugiFlow tells you what actually happened.

A calendar can’t tell you a house took two extra hours. Every job in TsugiFlow has a labor budget, and you watch real time and cost climb against it while the job is still running.

Cleaning job on track at 58% of its labor budget, with time remaining and live labor cost
On track at 58% of the budget, with time remaining shown.
Cleaning job over budget at 121%, flagged while the crew is still working
Over budget at 121%, flagged while the crew is still on site.
Overage report showing which properties run over their labor budget and the extra labor cost
  • Budgets that fit the job. Set from size and service type, so a deep clean gets more time than a touch-up.
  • Live labor cost on every job. Planned vs. actual, per person, as it happens.
  • Costs stay with the owners. Crews see their time and the countdown. Only admins see dollars, so nobody’s comparing pay.
  • Heads-up when a job runs long. A Slack alert when a job is 2+ hours over.
  • See which houses lose money. The overage report shows how often each property runs over and what it costs you.

Why it works

Built from the ground up inside a working cleaning company

TsugiFlow started as the tool a vacation-rental cleaning company in Bozeman, Montana needed to run its own crews. Every feature, timers that survive bad cell service, turnover flags, linen pickup lists, the labor budgets. All came from real turnovers, real cleaners and real payroll.

Sound familiar?

Running crews shouldn’t mean running your phone all day.

“Who’s cleaning the Aspen condo tomorrow?”

The schedule lives in your head, a spreadsheet, and three group texts.

“Can someone cover the 2 pm turnover?”

Every change means another round of calls and texts, and someone always misses it.

“Did they finish yet?”

You find out a house is done when someone remembers to tell you.

“Why did that clean take six hours?”

You only learn a job ran long when payroll shows up.

“Are we making money on this house?”

Without real hours per job, you’re pricing on guesses.

“There goes my Sunday.”

Building next week by hand eats the time you’d spend growing the business.

TsugiFlow puts the schedule, the crews and the numbers in one place, so those questions answer themselves.

How TsugiFlow works

Put properties on each day, group your cleaners into teams, and set the route order.

  3. 3

    Your cleaners work their jobs

Everyone gets their day by email and sees it in the app. They tap Start when they arrive.

  4. 4

    Track time and labor

Every minute is logged per person and turned into labor cost as it happens.

  5. 5

    See what actually happened

Day and week totals, and which properties keep running over budget.

FAQ

Questions cleaning company owners ask

Is TsugiFlow only for cleaning companies?

It was built for cleaning companies, and that’s where it fits best. Landscaping, painting and contracting teams use the same crew scheduling and job costing.

How long does setup take?

Most companies add their cleaners, a few properties and their first week in a few minutes. Your trial starts with sample jobs so you can see how everything works before adding your own.

Do my employees need an account?

Anyone who uses the app, from cleaners running timers to leads and managers, gets their own login by email invite. You can also schedule temporary help without giving them an account.

Can I manage recurring jobs?

You can copy a day’s schedule forward, move unfinished jobs to any date, and set repeating reminders on a property (weekly, monthly and so on) so it comes back on time. Fully automatic repeating jobs aren’t built yet.

Can I track employee time?

Yes. Cleaners tap Start and Finish on their phones. Time is logged per person, keeps counting through spotty service, and rolls into payroll hours.

Can I see labor costs?

Yes. Live on every job against its budget, in day and week totals, and in a report of which properties run over.

Can I try it before paying?

Yes. Every account starts with a free 30-day trial. No credit card needed.

Is there a contract?

No long-term contract. Plans renew monthly (Solo is billed yearly) and you can cancel anytime. You keep access through the period you’ve paid for.

What if I need help setting it up?

Email support@linenflow.app and we’ll help you get your cleaners, properties and first week set up.
